I first fell in love with live theatre in the 7th grade, when our English class went to see the high school's production of The Wiz. I was enraptured and have been a theatre nerd ever since. I was a member of the International Thespians Society, Drama Club president, and hosted improv sessions in the drama room at lunch time. I did take a break from acting when I got married and had kids, but still regularly went to see productions at local high schools colleges, community theatres, Stage West, Casa Manana, Shakespeare in the Park, and more. I finally returned to the stage in 2011 at my family's urging.
Since then I have served not only as actor, but as costume designer, prop designer, set designer, set builder, scenic painter, director, light tech, artistic director, and playwright throughout the DFW area.
